Writing is a solitary process – but you don’t have to do it alone. Tutor led writing retreats and courses give you the chance to share that journey, while at the same time develop your writing skills.
Whether it’s your first short story or your tenth novel, a writing retreat can refresh and inspire.
Choose a residential tutor led retreat – or a day long course, to escape the pressure of everyday life and focus on your writing…
In 2021, we are thrilled to have our residential retreats back. Once again they will be held in beautiful Warwickshire, just a few miles from Stratford-Upon-Avon.
Our first retreat, October 1st to 3rd is sold out, with a waiting list, but we have added a second retreat – to be held from November 19th to 21st.
This course would suit both new and more experienced writers, and will help you develop your work, looking at plot, character arc, setting and what your book is really about. We will also offer some insights on breaking into the highly competitive publishing world.
In all our retreats, tutorials and exercises help you cultivate the skills to complete and polish a manuscript to a publishable standard. We will look at your work and offer constructive advice on avoiding plot holes, saggy middles and other writing pitfalls.
Bring your questions to our friendly and informative after dinner discussions.
